Back in the UK

I'm back in the UK been good so far went windsurfing down at hill head did some freestyling which was great fun. I went to the student windsurfing event this weekend down in calshot they didn't have allot of wind for the event but had a hell of a fancy dress party. on a boat which cruised up and down the solent very funny it was a moving dance floor full of drunk people would sway about and look 100 times drunker than they where. Allso at the event I gave a Surfaid presentation and they are going to give donations to Surfaid as of next year witch is a great help and will help allot of people. if you want to help Surfaid you can donate on there web site witch is www.surfaidinternational.org.
forecast looks good for the next week and I am planing my trip round Europe in my friends van woop woop cant wait will be awesome trip will keep you posted thanks chris

2009 goya's and maui is still windy

Its windy and wavey here on Maui its so consistent my body is aching all over. I have been on the rocks a few times. One time I was trying to show some one who has never sailed Hokipa, how to get out, all I showed them was how not to get out. There was a lull in wind wight water hit me i was straight on the rocks pretty funny apart from I broke my board its in the repair shop now but on the up side. I tried out the new 2009 Goya boards and they are awesome boards as always. I have been siling with all the guys from my local beach back home Jamie,Audsly, Hunty, Coxy, Dan and Wems so many people out here at the moment good fun. I am trying to upload some video footage now so hope to have a video of my trip to Maui soon I will keep you posted.

Scary surfing

so I just moved in to new house with all the lads and it was a full moon and some one had the idea to go night surfing. so we went over to dumps near laparose for 10pm. god that is scariest thing ever. the waves where head high but you cant see the set till its on you. great fun! woo then the shark night fear thing god I had some adrenalin flowing. and a massive set came in over head high wiped us all out I had a hold down at night in the dark I didn't know which way was up but was such a rush I was shacking with fear and adrenalin. I chicken out and paddled in while guys stayed out for around an hour I think I lasted a good 30 mini not bad effort. midnight surfing .

THE WIND AND WAVES R BACK!!!

so finally the wind and waves are back and all the photo shoots are in full swing. today it was mast high Hokipa and day before was fun head height hope to find some pics from today. I have posted some from day before they where all taken by Steve Williams. The waves and wind look set in for a while with loads more to come with forecast looking good right in to next week. I hope my body can hold out.
So today it was my first run out this season in big swell at Hokipa. I left the beach hit massive lump of wight water and I got pushed straight back on to the rocks down wind with about 100 people watching great!!.

I think Hokipa has its own sense of humour as it always shows you who's boss. so as soon as it had dun that I climed back up the cliff and re rigged went back out for a awesome session with my best wave given to me by Keith Taboul sweet mast high clean ride cant wait for tomorrow woop! woop!

not much wind here on maui but plenty to do went snorkeling today sweet . looks like wind coming up on thurs action should be in full swing for the weekend looking good waves on there way woop woop about time !!!

now maui

so i posted a few catch up stories of course allot more has happened in between the stories but here is where it starts right now i am in Maui for around a month been sweet so far had some funny surfes my shorts split all the Way down bk on my first wave v funny surfed on about for about 40 min with my bum out great. i will post some pics and keep you up to date with whats been happening out here in maui andi hope to get a video together

Maui Fishing 2007 story

in Maui 2007 I got asked to help out on a fishing trip which was great fun but, the thing was it came as a surprise. the nightbefore there was a beach party at our house I had a few to may bedvaragesand woke up in the morning In soaking wet clothes ..ummm ooo dear whathappened last night. Well what had happened I had passed out on a sunlounger and the guys thought it would be funny to anchor a kayak to thebeach put me on it and push me out to sea while I still stay un aware ofwhat's happening I suddenly stand to my feet fall like a log in to the oceanface first as I can imaging was very funny to all the guys standing on thebeach so if you have ever had an incident like that happen to you and you donot rember it you could empathizes with the state I was in next day and yesthis was the day someone offered to take me on a boat fishing for 21 hoursin the pacific ocean and yes I saw my breakfast on a number of occasionsbut we caught 700 pounds of fish and a prize 100pounder tuna it was the bestfishing trip the boat owner has ever had so I guess fish must likeregurgitated alcohol a great fun thing to do good life experience.

cape town worst week ever 2008

Worsed week was soo rubbish so our house gets burgled my lap top gets taken from my bed that i was sleeping in talk about shitting me up. When the police came we followed the foot prints of the bugalors down a back ally path behind our house for over 2 miles where they went in to a bush and the police man and I where there crouching down he said shh he gets his gun out at this point im absolutely bricking my self what the fuck am I going to do be a human shield hes got his gun out, we are about to go through this bush o my god this is insane, are they there ?
am I about to face our burglars in the face? they have all redy seen me in my full naked sleeping glory earlier that morning but what are they like … but nope its all clear we could see in the sand they had sorted through all our stuff proffits ticket stubs fanatic stickers on the ground. we followed the prints for about another 2 miles sherloc holms style then there tracks go on to a tarmac road all hope of finding our stuff is gone but for a while was like a episode of inspector cluso strange feeling following fresh path they had taken earlier that morning another strangely fun cape town experience.
so then cant I could not sail because I was thinking that could have been killed in my bed or following them crazy thoughts going round in my head as I am sailing out . I hit a wave get stuck in my foot strap and rip all the ligaments in my ankle end up in casulty for x rays just bad ligament rip out for over a two mounths could not walk soooooo shittt so I was cameraman fro next three weeks my worsed sa experience it was pritty crazy fun and bad all mixed in rollercoaster week dispite bad thing happening I think its all part of the experience good and bad times all makes great memories.

My birthday cape town when I turned 18 and we had a massive fancy dress party invited every one to come to doodles a beach front bar pip pardoe dressed as peter pan me as a fairy all the boys as cow boys and proffits crew of 6 all Mexicans and kevin meveson in a spider man suit sized for a 6 year old and si and law and crew as American Indians and cowboys around 10 then after a few beverages decided to head home and take every one at the bar with us so we had 6 Mexicans 10 cowboys/ indiand fairytale characters bar goers and a super hero in our house just like a massive circus precession down road back to our house .with cars pulling up with 180” hand break parking from the Dutch boys. far to say it was getting rowdy our house had a sweet pool and hot tub it was the ideal party house but our land lord had had eneuf of this sort of thing happening, it had been dun a few nights before so she came down the road and was at our front gate where a drunk man fairy me and proffit dressed as a Mexican with sombreo,poncho and tash where trying to convince here there was no party going on inside her lovely house which she rented to us with no furniture in it apart from beds wise move as sure we would have lost a deposit if there was any in there . she stormed in past us to see spider man leaping from the roof some 8ft up in to the pool pulling the huge bomb with a massive cheer from all the fairy tale characters and cow boys far to say every one got moved on to carry the party on in the local night club cabañas great 18th never forget that was great fun.
